Physical description:

Iquira Township is located in the western part of the department of Huila on the foothills of the Nevado del Huila volcano. Limits of the municipality:

It limits the north with the city of Teruel, south to the town of Thessaly on the east with the municipalities of Teruel and Yaguará and west with Nátaga and Cauca.
