Tarpeya Forest Reserve

Location: village Juancho

In Tarpeya tourism is promoted and strengthened as a center for experimental research to the practice of forestry and environmental studies which offers institutions, universities, colleges, schools, NGO "S and community. Tarpeya is a nature reserve which functions as the administrative headquarters of the Nevado del Huila NNP, presents altitudes between 1,300 and 2,500 m; minimum 15 and maximum 32 ° C temperature and average temperatures between 18ºC - 22ºC; The reserve has a total area of ​​474 hectares, comprising the lots or Tarpeya (house and surroundings), El Meson, Rincon, Chicoral, Casas Verdes, Colombia, Kikuyal and Limbo sites.
